Ferrite Microwave Technologies is highly capable of designing and fabricating a wide variety of integrated waveguide assemblies. The team at FMT has previously built waveguide assemblies for clients in the Medical, Weather Radar, and Military Radar fields. Although these units are customer-specific, typical solutions would include circulators, terminations, directional couplers, bends, transmission lines, as well as mounting and support brackets for ease of installation.
Medical Waveguide Assemblies
We have longstanding history of supporting the Medical Industry with Circulators, Isolators and Loads as stand-alone units. Ferrite now supplies integrated assemblies for several CLINAC programs.
Typically, assemblies are made up of Circulators, High Power Loads, Low Power Loads, Directional Couplers, pressure ports, arc detector sections, E & H-Plane bends, Flex-Sections along with mounting and support brackets. These units arrive fully electrically and mechanically ready for system integration.
Weather Radar RF Pallets
We have long supported the Weather Radar Industry with Circulators, Duplexers and Loads as stand-alone units. As a way to increase the value of our microwave design engineering and test expertise, Ferrite has supplied integrated assemblies for Weather Radar programs. The most notable of these programs was the NEXRAD Dual Polarization Upgrade where Ferrite supplied all WSR-88D sites with a fully integrated RF Pallet ready for installing on the Antenna Pedestal.
Military Radar Waveguide Assemblies
We have long supported Military Radars whether ground, naval or air-based with a multitude of components ranging from Circulators, Duplexers, Couplers and Loads as stand-alone units. In contrast, assemblies are comprised of various microwave components, working together as one unit. All assemblies come equipped with mounting and support brackets. In addition, integrated waveguide assemblies deliver fully electrically and mechanically ready for system integration.
We assemble and test these offerings as one unit. Alternatively, units deliver as “kits” with the individual components packaged separately.

Ferrite: A Microwave Techniques Company
In partnership with the legacy product line at Mega Industries, we have the capability to combine several components into one assembly. The legacy product line at FMT includes windows, circulators, isolators, duplexers, and beyond. Mega’s product line focuses on waveguide components and coaxial products. Together, we’ve created Microwave Techniques, the global leader in high-power microwave components, assemblies, systems, and product support.
