Microwave Circulator Repairs

Ferrite Microwave Technologies (FMT) leverages its expertise in high-power devices to offer microwave circulator repairs from any OEM vendor. All circulator evaluations and repair services take place in our AS9100 certified facility.

Circulator Repairs: Overview

To meet new demands for microwave circulator repairs, we’ve increased our capacity by expanding our facility footprint, and created a new department dedicated exclusively to repairs. The group is able to evaluate circulators, and then decide the best path forward. Whether it is repairing the entire unit, or simply replacing the parts that need the most attention – our team has the specialized knowledge to determine the appropriate restorations for your circulators.

Microwave Circulator Repairs
  • Expertise in all 915MHz circulators (75 & 100 kw)
  • Refinishing the entire unit with specialized coating and paint
  • Exclusive use of FMT configured and specialized ferrite material
  • All microwave circulator repairs are conducted in our AS9100 certified facility
  • Offering new and advanced universal 915MHz dome for units with corroded aluminum domes
  • All repairs include a tuning to exact frequency required, in our world-class testing laboratory facility
  • To save costs, several major OEMs manufacture domes using Al, which is known to condensate, corrode, or fail

Typical Repair Strategies

Depending on the exact reasons why a circulator is sent in for repair, we offer a range of repair strategies. Rather than replacing an entire unit, we offer cost-saving strategies that may be more effective for your budget, versus buying a brand new unit. Below is a list of typical repair strategies that FMT offers:

Microwave Circulator Repair Strategies
  • Test and re-tune
  • Replacing ferrite disks
  • Soldering of coolant tubes
  • Removing pits from domes
  • Replacing any missing hardware
  • Refurbishing the circulator housing
  • Repairing the in or out load transitions

Microwave Circulators: Repairs & Parts
