High Power Waveguide Couplers

Ferrite Microwave Technologies high power waveguide couplers are used in a variety of applications for monitoring system performance. They are also used for test and measurement for calibration, as well as system interlocks. FMT produces a wide array of waveguide couplers. Most of our high power couplers are available from WR90 to WR2300.

Waveguide Couplers

Couplers are available in Cross Guide, Broadwall, Array, Branch Line, and Vestigial Loop configurations. Single, double, and trip loop waveguide couplers are utilized for reflectometer measurements and power monitoring in waveguide transmission systems. Coupling values are industry standard of 40, 50, and 60 dB. However, other coupling values are available upon specialzied request. We also offer air cooled and liquid cooling, for applications of very high power.

Microwave Techniques: Mega Couplers

Our partners at Mega Industries also offer a comprehensive line of high power waveguide couplers for power monitoring, signal mixing, signal sampling, and branch line feeding. Various options are available for optimium space utilization in a feed system layout. Mega also offers multi-loop couplers, which enables the couplers ability to set at different coupling values for forward and reverse waves to optimize the dynamic range.

Ultra High Vacuum Waveguide Couplers

In addition to their standard high power waveguide offerings, Mega has capabilities for ultra-high vacuum compatible waveguide couplers. We develop, design, and manufacture these custom-tailored devices with vacuum-rated materials.
