Ferrite Microwave Technologies is the global leader in 915 MHz microwave systems, generators, circulators, and other high-power components. The majority of FMT systems and generators operate at 915 MHz by default. However, we also offer a range of options for other common microwave processing frequencies of 929, 922, and 896 MHz. Commercial scale systems are available in various power levels, and utilize one or more generators to provide the microwave power. Depending upon material or application, we offer systems in single mode and multimode configuration. Whether it is cooking bacon, tempering frozen foods, or drying out building materials – FMT has a broad base of system level solutions for 915 MHz.
915 MHz Microwave Generators
The power for FMT systems is supplied by our very own generators, which incorporate the latest in electronic and microwave technology. They can be used as a single power source, or in combination with other generators, depending upon the total power required by the application. Our generators are the fundamental building block for 915 MHz microwave systems.

Commercial Scale Systems
Ferrite Microwave Technologies expands their offering for 915 MHz commercial scale systems with the 2021 acquistion of IMS. The systems developed and patented by IMS apply power to achieve rapid, uniform heating for continuous planar (on a belt through a tunnel) and cylindrical (pumpable fluids through a pipe) processes on a production scale. Standard modularized system designs are available in 915 MHz. Upon request, we can provide customized non-standard designs for specific process applications.
915 MHz: Cylindrical System
Cylindrical systems operating at 915 MHz provide a unique solution, best utilized for continuous thermal processing of pumpable heat and shear sensitive products. Typically, products of high viscosity and multiphase materials that demand precise temperature control are best suited for this style system. Examples include: sauces, dairy products, and more.
915 MHz: Planar System
Planar systems operating at 915 MHz provide a better alternative to conventional, re-circulated hot air dryers. These style systems offer best-in-class uniformity, efficiency, and thermal processing they demonstrate in many industrial processes. Typically, continuous sheet and loose granular products are best suited for planar style heating and drying systems.
915 MHz Microwave Circulators
Ferrite’s core business is in the manufacture of high-power 915 MHz microwave circulators, isolators, and loads. Although our variety of circulators reach a broad range of clients in radar, medical, communications, and scientific applications – we apply the same meticulousness and discipline to the manufacture of industrial components. We provide users, including ourselves, with more energy being applied to their cavities. This helps with less energy reflected towards the power source (magnetrons and others).
